Crews extricated two trapped victims from the wreckage, using hydraulic rescue tools. Both trapped patients were transported to a nearby trauma center in critical condition. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1049; 02:11PM; 7708 N Eton Av; https://bit.ly/3Kra9lP; Canoga Park; Firefighters arrived to find an outside rubbish fire exposing and extending into a single family home. A portion of the first 32 LAFD firefighters engaged in extinguishing the exterior fire, while the remainder of the crew made entry into the occupancy. While inside the structure, a small amount of smoke and fire was located adjacent to the exterior burn and was successfully extinguished in 17 minutes. No injuries to civilians or fire department members. Cause under investigation.
