PHYSICAL RESCUE 06/05/2026 INC#0085

PHYSICAL RESCUE; INC#0085; 01:47AM; Eb 210 Fy; https://bit.ly/4x7kiLK; Sylmar; ROXFORD IC reported 3 vehicles and 2 semi trucks involved in a severe accident, with 1 semi truck hanging over the embankment of the freeway. One patient needed to be extricated via a physical rescue assignment by the LAFD and was found in critical condition. In total 3 patients were transported, 1 patient in critical condition and 2 patients in fair condition. ROXFORD IC also requested an LAFD Hazmat unit for a fuel leak and CHP responded and for closed all lanes of the freeway. CHP were escorting traffic off of the east bound Roxford offramp. Approximately 54 LAFD personnel were assigned to the incident. No LAFD injuries were reported. Contents have been dumped and it is being treated as a rubbish fire. Approximately 43 LAFD personnel assigned to the incident. All in coming companies discontinued. [KNOCKDOWN] Structure Fire; INC#0801; 12:27PM; 18324 W Friar St; https://bit.ly/4e9HikN; Tarzana; FRIAR IC declared a knockdown of the fire at 1246 hours. 1 Story single family dwelling with heavy fire showing. No exposures at this time. One patient found, unknown age male in grave condition. Patient was treated on scene by LAFD paramedics and transported. Emergency traffic called for patient having a firearm on or near his person. Firearm is secure. LAFD is now in a UNIFIED COMMAND with LAPD. LAPD is on scene and the incident will now be treated as a crime scene. Due to the terrain, a hoist operation was utilized to capture the patient. The patient was transported to LAFD ground operations for further assessment. Update Situation Static PHYSICAL RESCUE; INC#0702; 11:23AM; 11130 N San Fernando Rd; https://bit.ly/4tIUkN7; Pacoima; LAFD located and assessed the 77 year old male driver of the passenger vehicle who was involved in the collision. The patient has minor injuries and is refusing transport to the hospital. 43 passengers on the train were assessed and none report any injuries. Cause of the accident is undetermined.
