Update Electrical Incident; 04:12PM; 5300 N SEPULVEDA BL; internal:/; Sherman Oaks; The patient transported earlier for electrical shock, sadly was pronounced dead at the hospital... In a 4 hour time-period (between noon - 4 PM) the LAFD responded to nearly 150 "Wire's Down" 911 incidents. When it comes to downed wires, "Stay Away, Stay Safe". Keep your distance from all fallen wires. Treat all power lines as if they are 'live'. Never go near or touch anything or anyone that has come in contact with an electrical wire. Update Rescue; 03:10PM; 16400 W BURBANK BL; internal:/; Update: Total of 7 patients. LAFD firefighters used a rope system, diagonally stretched across the water to safely rescue and walk 3 patients across the water, 1 of which was transported to a hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.
