Update Structure Fire; 06:41PM; 9433 N Sepulveda Bl; internal:/; #NORTHHILLS KNOCKDOWN: 65FF in 33 mins. This vacant craftsman with a converted attic and basement was heavily boarded up, creating forcible entry challenges and delaying access to the seat of the fire both in the rear of the structure and attic. Aggressive firefighting prevailed and exposed building was defended, sustaining no damage. No injuries reported. Cause TBD; FS 7; Batt 12; Valley Bureau; Council District 6; Margaret Stewart

Update Structure Fire; 06:22PM; 9433 N Sepulveda Bl; internal:/; #NORTHHILLS Building is very compartmentalized and boarded, creating access challenges getting hand lines to each section of the building. Firefighters have now been able to make access to the converted attic, where there is heavy fire, and are making good progress. No injuries reported. Exposed building has been protected from damage. Additional resources were requested prior to successful forcible entry creating access points. Total fire companies now assigned is provided below (raising it to a Greater Alarm) but not all those units have arrived on scene. Update Address Updated Brush Fire; 10:54PM; 3111 N Dona Maria Dr; internal:/; Studio City / Valley Village; Fire 100% contained with active flames extinguished by 72 FF in 70 mins. Firefighters continue to address hot spots and 2 LACoFD camp crews responding to assist with putting scratch line in place around the burn. No injuries reported. Update Brush Fire; 10:17PM; 8401 W Mulholland Dr; internal:/; Studio City / Valley Village; Fire being held in check at approximately 1 acre. Fire in heavy brush with steep terrain but slow moving with little to no winds. No structures threatened. Water drops effectively slowing forward progress while firefighters are getting progressive hose lay in place.
