Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0307; 06:59AM; 10711 N Sherman Grove Av; https://bit.ly/3JVnB4O; Sunland; 36 firefighters successfully knocked down the fire in 40 minutes. The fire threatened neighboring occupancies, but was confined to the property of origin. The male occupant of the home is still undergoing medical evaluation on scene. Unfortunately, a canine was located in the structure and determined deceased and beyond veterinary help. No other persons or animals were located in structure during a secondary search. No injuries to firefighter reported. Cause of fire is unknown.
