Natural Gas Leak; INC#1305; 06:40PM; 10334 W Farmington Av; http://bit.ly/2mtPnLc; Sunland; LAFD was summoned by SoCalGas to assist with evacuating two homes due to a natural gas leak (the home nearest the leak and one more in the down wind direction). To fix the problem, the street will be closed off for an unknown duration while the pipe is being accessed (minor traffic impact, as this is blocking a cul de sac). There is no fire problem, and no need for further evacuations. No injuries have been reported and no one has been transported to the hospital. The forward progress of the fire has been stopped and there are no nearby structures exposed to flames. No reported injuries. Unknown cause. Other responding agencies cancelled prior to arrival.
