Sixteen firefighters held the fire to one-quarter-acre of grass. The well developed attic fire spread to and fully engulfed the two car garage as firefighters deployed lines within the attic and prevented the horizontal spread into the residence. Truck companies worked around solar panels on the roof to conduct vertical ventilation and assisted in accessing the isolated pockets of fire. LAPD requested to respond for a possible grow operation.
