Complete - Rescue; INC#0455; 09:53AM; 10725 W Vanowen St; https://bit.ly/3y5HICE; North Hollywood; The first arriving 20 LAFD firefighters took less than 15 minutes to safely and skillfully rescue the adult male worker, trapped between a forklift and what witnesses described as nearly 6,000 lbs. of marble, at an indoor storage and industrial sales facility. He has been taken to an area hospital in fair condition. At the conclusion of the rescue, another adult male worker came forth, complaining of elbow pain sustained in his effort to assist his co-worker prior to LAFD arrival. The residence was protected from harm, but 1 adult male civilian, who lived in the RV, was evaluated by LAFD Paramedics, who found him to have sustained only a minor thermal burn on his hand. The man has declined further medical treatment. Firefighter-paramedics located the driver in a remote area away from the vehicle. The elderly male patient is unable to make it up the steep grade to road level.
