A single car went into a wall (off the parking lot) of a veterinary clinic. Three patients were transported - one adult female employee who was inside the building in unknown condition, two additional patients (age/gender unknown) were transported for minor, non-life threatening injuries. LAFD Urban Search and Rescue unit evaluated the structure and did not determine any loss of structural integrity. There was no evacuation required. LA Building and Safety was notified and is the point of contact for official determination of the building status. Knockdown - Structure Fire; INC#1423; 08:03PM; 6234 N Agnes Av; https://bit.ly/33LSzas; #NorthHollywood; 21 Firefighters took just 15 minutes to access, confine and fully extinguish an intense outside fire that extended into a debris-filled detached garage conversion at the east end of the property. Firefighters prevented all but exterior damage to the eaves of the 1,066 square-foot one-story primary residence, and halted flames before they could cause any damage to a neighboring home to the north. During the firefight, firefighters encountered an adult male resident with 2nd degree burns to his hands and legs. He was provided immediate on-scene care before being transported by LAFD Paramedics to an area hospital in serious condition. No other injuries reported. The fire was in the attic and extended down into the walls on one side of the building. Firefighters encountered zero visibility conditions on the 2nd floor while locating the fire. 29 firefighters extinguished the fire in 35 minutes with no injuries reported.
