The flames, still driven by 10 MPH wind, have consumed brush on two fronts, including 3 acres to the north side, and one-quarter (0.25) acre to the south near *but not involving* the golf course. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1845; 11:20PM; 19223 W Saticoy St; https://bit.ly/3tDCKMf; Reseda; Firefighters quickly deployed hose lines and contained the fire to its unit of origin. It took 26 firefighters just 13 minutes to extinguish the flames. There was smoke damage to other units on the floor above. Firefighter-paramedics evaluated and treated four patients, and transported at least two of them to the hospital (unknown ages/genders/conditions). Thankfully, everyone escaped the building, as audible alarms could be heard from functional smoke detectors warning occupants of the danger.
