Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1635; 09:44PM; 9853 N Mason Av; https://bit.ly/4f38Msj; #Chatsworth; 45 Firefighters took 10 minutes to confine and fully extinguish a possible oven fire found in one unit of a one-story strip mall. using an offensive firefighting. LAFD Firefighters used forcible entry and rapidly get a firefighting hose line in place to prevent fire spread. No injuries reported. Firefighters will remain on scene for building and safety. Park Rangers to an injured adult male mountain bicyclist who sustained serious injury on a remote section of the West Mandeville Fire Road south of Mulholland Drive. [UPDATED] KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0702; 12:06PM; 11200 N El Dorado Av; https://bit.ly/44QJdpy; #Pacoima; This incident escalated to a greater alarm response, with 111 total personnel on scene. Heavy fire was discovered and extinguished inside the single family dwelling; fire and off-gassing propane tanks outside the home have been neutralized. While all human occupants were able to escape the home, two dogs are deceased and one is missing. DWP, DOT (INC#4678), LAPD (INC#2110), and the gas company have been attached. One patient (35F) has been transported in fair condition, and a total of seven people are displaced -- Red Cross is assisting with housing. Knockdown declared in 29 minutes from the time of the initial 911 call.
