There were no persons exposed to the mercury. Out of an abundance of caution, the building is being evacuated to ensure the HVAC system does not created a hazard. There are no medical complaints at this time. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0873; 02:05PM; 7850 N Balboa Bl; https://bit.ly/3G2I9SX; Van Nuys; KNOCKDOWN: 76 firefighters extinguished the fire in 36 minutes with no injuries reported. The fire destroyed the unit of origin and the extent of damage to the adjacent units is being determined. The exposed mobile home / RVs were defended from damage.
