Once firefighters located the patient and assessed his (45yo male) injury, they requested a hoist operation. LAFD Air Ops are preparing to conduct a hoist operation followed by transport for the patient who sustained a leg injury. The 9-1-1 call was received at 11:33AM. Firefighters arrived to quickly extinguish the structure and outside fires, protecting the interior of the home. Firefighters are setting up ventilation measures to clear some light smoke that made its way inside. Ultimately, it took 18 firefighters 15 minutes to respond and extinguish the flames.
