An LAFD Flight Paramedic has been lowered from a hovering LAFD rescue helicopter to medically assess and stabilize the patient, who will soon be hoisted onto the aircraft with the LAFD Flight Paramedic, for in-flight care during direct transport to an area hospital. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1185; 04:21PM; 22250 W Strathern St; https://bit.ly/3IVDUee; Canoga Park; KNOCKDOWN: 34 firefighters extinguished the fire in 24 minutes with no injuries reported. Firefighters encountered excessive storage conditions inside the structure which created challenges reaching the seat of the fire. The fire was mostly towards the rear of the home and extended into the attic. Both occupants were out of the home prior to LAFD arrival and have no medical complaints. Cause and $ loss TBD.
