The moving head of the fire is being held in check by Martson Drive. LAFD air and ground resources are coordinating full containment on all sides of the fire and mop up of hotspots. Confined Space Rescue - Now Static; INC#0147; 02:57AM; 11030 W Hartsook St; https://bit.ly/43XMDXw; North Hollywood; Fire companies and USAR specialists coordinated for approximately one hour to rescue an alert male from a hole approximately 3’ wide and 30’ deep. An oxygen tank and mask were lowered to the victim due to air quality in the hole. Rescuers utilized an aerial ladder truck to create a high point for a rope rescue, allowing the victim to be captured and slowly raised to ground level. [Rescued] Hiker Rescue; INC#1718; 11:32PM; 6050 N Balboa Bl; https://bit.ly/4vqovbQ; Sepulveda Basin; BC10 is BALBOA IC E100 upgraded incident to a hiker incident. Found a 37 year old man on a bike fell off the trail a number of feet. Air Operations performed a hoist operation and has secured the patient. Patient is being medically treated in the LAFD helicopter and being transported to a local hospital. Currently the, medical.severity and injuries are unknown. No reported injuries to LAFD members at this time.
