Reporting the grass fire is now 1/2 acre burning into the wind. Still now structures or exposures threatened. Fire is a grass fire burning in light fuels with a slow rate of spread. BC12 upgraded the LAFD response to a BRUSH Fire response. LAFD Air Operations have been attached, Water Tender 77 and 1 additional helicopter from LA County Fire Department also requested. Firefighters coordinated interior fire attack and roof operations, knocking down vehicles on fire inside the structure in 29 minutes. 68 firefighters on scene. No exposed structures involved with fire; no injuries. Multiple units will remain on scene for an extended period of time to perform overhaul procedures. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.
