A representative from the Dept of Building and Safety has red-tagged the building due to potential collapse. Consequently, all LAFD ladderpipe operations are on hold while the building is under further evaluation to determine if it is safe to continue master streams as part of the overhaul operation. No additional injuries reported. The one firefighter transported had only a minor injury. LAFD Arson will investigate the cause of the fire per protocol. Firefighters are making good progress and have contained the fire to the building of origin. One firefighter was transported with a non-life threatening burn injury.
