Update Structure Fire; INC#0260; 06:07AM; 9473 N Reverie Rd; https://bit.ly/4fX0ukT; Tujunga; This extended duration firefight continues as crews face difficulty reaching all areas of the fire due to the terrain (descending hillside home). LAFD Air Ops provided water drops on the surrounding vegetation as the ember cast was threatening extension. There are no other structures exposed. The home has a partial collapse and full collapse is anticipated. There are no injuries reported. Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1186; 03:25PM; 9010 N Tobias Av; https://bit.ly/407wziA; Panorama City; KNOCKDOWN: 44 firefighters (prior to the arrival of additionally requested resources) extinguished the fire in 33 minutes with no injuries reported. Crews contained the fire to one unit on the 2nd floor (of three occupied floors over parking in the combined center-hall / garden style building) but there was heavy smoke on the floor which will likely leave at least the adjacent unit uninhabitable. Firefighters deployed a ground ladder to a unit on the 2nd floor, two units down from the involved unit, to safely assist an occupant down. There are no patients with any medical complaints. The primary and secondary search of the involved unit is clear.
