After extinguishing the bulk of the fire on the 1st floor and 2nd floor mezzanine, firefighters chased down a stubborn fire in the walls between the unit of origin and an adjacent business. Salvage operations conducted to protect contents of the businesses to the extent possible. No injuries reported. The cause is under investigation. Firefighters located seat of the fire on the 2nd floor in a AC duct down a narrow corridor and working to extinguish. The unit to the west is being protected from exposure. Significant storage in the garage required time to remove so firefighters could ensure the fire was completely extinguished and had no extension. No injuries reported. Fire contained to approximately 1 acre and two homes were protected from any damage. No injuries reported.
