Structure Fire; INC#1337; 06:37PM; 8277 W McGroarty St; http://bit.ly/34YLxLi; Sunland; After extinguishing a fire in a small out building at 8140 McGroarty St, units saw a nearby two-story ascending hillside home with smoke showing at 8277 McGroarty St. Firefighters found fire on the second floor, which had extended into the grass adjacent to the structure. 28 firefighters extinguished the fire in both structures and the vegetation in 30 minutes (the second address, more significant fire in 14 minutes). No reported injuries. He has been safely hoisted aboard a hovering LAFD rescue helicopter in undetermined condition to receive in-flight care during direct helicopter transport to nearby trauma center.
