Industrial Accident; INC#0378; 08:42AM; 14241 W Ventura Bl; http://bit.ly/35ki5Pt; Sherman Oaks; A construction accident reportedly trapped one person under lumber for several minutes while co-workers worked to free the person from their location. Those workers initiated CPR, following instructions from an LAFD 9-1-1 dispatcher over the phone. Firefighter/paramedics arrived, took over CPR, and initiated advanced life support. The patient was transported to a local trauma center in grave condition. Mayor's Crisis Response Team responding to assist/support workers during this crisis. No road closures. Nothing further. There were no injuries. LAFD crews will utilize one or more on-site skiploaders operated by facility staff to move and deeply soak tons of still smoldering debris, and prevent re-ignition.
