One adult female is being evaluated by LAFD Paramedics for possible smoke inhalation. No other injury. They will remain on scene for an extended duration to conduct a de-watering operation for a structure impacted by the water (type unknown). Traffic; INC#0318; 08:50AM; 21700 W Prairie St; http://bit.ly/2xsPBaD; Chatsworth; (Original incident call time 7:48AM) A traffic collision resulted in a sheared hydrant (no injuries) and despite firefighters shutting both valves, they are unable to shut down the hydrant. Firefighters put dams in place to try to direct the water, however, the flow is too high for them to control. LAFD remains on scene awaiting LADWP arrival. There were five dogs inside the structure. One is deceased and one is being transported by the owner to the vet for evaluation for smoke inhalation.
