Due to location near the freeway, water access is limited and a water shuttle operation is being put in place. Emergency apparatus are currently working off the WB 118 Freeway which will impact traffic until an appropriate alternate location can be established. There are no structures threatened by the fire. Significant smoke is likely visible from the freeway. No injuries reported. Update River Rescue; INC#1295; 08:58PM; 50 Tujunga Wash; http://bit.ly/3b2EBiM; Arleta; After an exhaustive search by land and air, the patient that had reportedly slipped into the flowing water was not located. Companies searched the channel from Arleta all the way to Downtown Los Angeles in an attempt to locate a patient. River Rescue 03/16/2020 INC#1295

River Rescue; INC#1295; 07:30PM; 50 Tujunga Wash; http://bit.ly/3b2EBiM; Arleta; A bystander flagged down E77 and reported an individual fell into the Tujunga Wash into flowing water 30 minutes before the RIVER assignment was created. Companies have been dispatched to different access points from Arleta all the way to Downtown LA in an attempt to locate the individual, who could potentially have covered a lot of ground in 10-15 mph water flow. Crews have not gotten eyes on a patient, so far, but continue to search by ground and by air. Aircraft Fire 03/13/2020 INC#1110

Aircraft Fire; INC#1110; 03:45PM; Nb 5 Tr; http://bit.ly/38JMTdG; LAFD is assisting Los Angeles County Fire Dept and other agencies with the search for a reported single prop engine down in the hills. Crews are facing difficult terrain and poor visibility in the search. There are reports of downed power lines in the hills and bystanders report hearing the aircraft. The search is ongoing but at this time, no aircraft has been located. Engine Response; INC#0925; 02:05PM; 8400 W La Tuna Canyon Rd; http://bit.ly/2W74bii; Shadow Hills; A rock slide causied a complete closure to all traffic on W La Tuna Canyon Rd at the 8400 block. LAPD is handling the closure and turning around traffic. AVOID La Tuna Canyon from the 210 FY west towards Sunland, you will not be able to cross through so use alternate routes. This slide is in a wild land area and there are no homes/structures threatened. A LA City Engineer evaluated the area and said there is a risk of some portion of the hillside sloughing but it does not put any homes at risk. The situation is still under evaluation by City Engineers and appropriate agencies. DOT / LAPD are handling traffic concerns. For any updates, please follow those two agencies. Firefighters defending two structures from fire extension with possible minor exterior damage only to one home. Due to the size of the structure and collapse making it difficult to determine cause of the fire, LAFD Arson is responding for the investigation. Update Structure Fire 03/13/2020 INC#0185

Update Structure Fire; INC#0185; 04:25AM; 3720 N Eureka Dr; http://bit.ly/2wT0AK2; Studio City; Firefighters continue to battle a defensive fire at a large (2, 282 square foot) single family residence with partial collapse. It is a defensive operation and they are making progress but there continues to be heavy fire in the center of the building. The two occupants safely evacuated with no reported injuries This is a hillside home and initially water pressure was a challenge. LADWP made adjustments to increase pressure which improved the situation but the number of hose lines able to be put into operation is affected. Firefighters successfully defended the exposed homes on both sides of the main structure from extension. There is possible minor exterior damage to one home.
