Update CONTAINED Brush Fire; INC#0823; 04:15PM; 15350 W Burbank Bl; https://bit.ly/2DzGaW3; Sherman Oaks; Over 100 firefighters battled through intensely hot weather to extinguish the fire that ultimately consumed 20 acres in the Sepulveda Basin. With the help of LA County hand crews, LAFD CERT volunteers, and a sky crane, firefighters declared 100% containment after 3 hours 17 minutes, protecting the Japanese gardens and water reclamation plant. Two firefighters and one civilian sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the fire. No structures were damaged.
