Interior fire attack was able to get the job done without calling for roof companies to cut a hole. There were no reported injuries. Update CONTAINED Brush Fire; INC#0950; 04:58PM; 2400 N Sepulveda Bl; https://bit.ly/2Fu0ywF; Brentwood; 66 firefighters extinguished the auto/brush fire in 44 min, between Sepulveda and the 405 freeway, when a freeway traffic incident sent one vehicle down into the brush, apparently igniting the vegetation. No drivers/passengers were found at the scene. No reported injuries. A rapid attack by ground and air kept the fire from burning a much larger area in the heavy brush of Hansen Dam area. There were no reported injuries. A coordinated fire attack with vertical ventilation by 32 firefighters took 39 minutes to extinguish the flames. No reported injuries.
