LACoFD hand crews have been cancelled. LAFD ground crews will remain at scene to fully extinguish smoldering grass and brush. No injuries. No structure threat or damage. Burbank Blvd will remain closed to all traffic between Sepulveda Blvd and Woodley Ave until LAFD operations are complete. Firefighters quickly extinguished the rubbish fire while fire attack made it's way into the structure. Crews located fire on the 1st and 2nd floors and knocked it down. Crews are working their way through the rest of the building to ensure no fire remains. No injuries reported. Update Brush Fire; INC#0814; 03:20PM; 22601 W Lassen St; https://bit.ly/33VHnFD; Chatsworth; KNOCKDOWN: 75 LAFD firefighters, with assistance from both LACoFD and VCFD achieved a knockdown of the fire in 93 minutes with no injuries reported. There is no further update to the 8 acre size. Crews will remain on scene for a number of hours conducting mop up operations to ensure no hot spots remain.
