After completing a vehicle extrication operation, firefighter/paramedics transported an approximately 50yo male patient (condition unknown) to the hospital. The horse is old and is believed to have passed due to natural causes. However, the responsible party tasked with removing the horse can not do so due to it's location. It is too far off the road to get their vehicle to the horse. LAFD was requested to assist in getting the horse close enough to the road to facilitate removal. The options are being evaluated with the potential of LAFD heavy rescue equipment and/or Urban Search and Rescue being brought in to assist.
