Update Structure Fire 04/19/2021 INC#0920

Update Structure Fire; INC#0920; 02:31PM; 10657 N Andasol Av; https://bit.ly/3dwxJy9; Granada Hills; KNOCKDOWN: 31 firefighters extinguished the fire in 27 minutes. The cause of a reported explosion preceding the fire appear to be a BBQ propane tank and the fire extended into the attic. Firefighters conducted salvage to protect belongings from water damage (as much as possible) and prevented the fire from extending down into the living space. Crews faced a double roof (which takes longer to cut through and clear) and excessive storage within the attic - which required additional time to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. No injuries reported. No further details.; FS 87; Batt 15; Valley Bureau; Council District 12; BC12 E18 E273 E275 E290 E87 RA87 RA90 T73 T75 T90; CH9; 17; Margaret Stewart
