One vehicle in the carport was damaged by the fire. It took 20 LAFD firefighters 52 minutes to extinguish all aspects of this fire. Fire investigators are en route to examine the scene. It took 22 minutes (6:45 AM) to extinguish the flames. One elderly female requested evaluation for a (non-injury) medical problem. As the heat and smoke cleared, they sadly found the ( unknown age / gender / breed) dog lifeless and beyond veterinary help. No human injury was reported.
