KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0791; 12:56PM; 8901 N Eton Av; https://bit.ly/3Am5uer; Canoga Park; Twenty-four firefighters confined the flames to the cooking area (and just one kitchen wall) of a mobile home, extinguishing the fire in 21 minutes. Both occupants evacuated safely (approx 98-year-old female and her caregiver). The female resident was evaluated on scene by paramedics as a precaution, but was without medical complaint. She chose to remain at home with her caregiver. The cause of the fire appears to be cooking-related. No Injury. No Evacuation. #LATraffic: To assure continued public and responder safety, Tujunga Avenue will remain closed to all traffic between Chandler Boulevard and Burbank Boulevard until LAFD operations deescalate. With 80 LAFD Firefighters assigned in defensive operation, this fire in a *two story* vacant commercial building, the site of a previous fire with structural compromise, is known as the "Tujunga Fire", and has escalated to Greater Alarm status. No Injuries Reported. No Evacuation. #LATraffic: To assure public and responder safety, Tujunga Avenue is closed to all traffic between Chandler Boulevard and Burbank Boulevard.
