Update KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1796; 12:05AM; 9126 N Van Nuys Bl; https://bit.ly/3zrQPit; Panorama City; KNOCKDOWN: The first 30 firefighters, prior to the arrival of the additionally requested resources, extinguished the fire in 32 minutes. The fire extended slightly into a grocery market within the strip mall but was prevented from extending into the office building (smoke is being cleared from the structure). There are no injuries reported. The two story strip mall had nothing showing up on the arrival of the first fire companies. During their investigation, they located fire in one unit. An aggressive fire attack extinguished the fire in 13 minutes and prevented it from extending into the adjoining businesses. There are no injuries reported. Cause and $ loss TBD.
