Structure Fire - Now Out; INC#0986; 02:27PM; 5144 N Don Pio Dr; https://bit.ly/3T8Rf6B; #WoodlandHills; First arriving 24 firefighters took just 11 minutes (2:38 PM) to access, confine and extinguish fire on the 2nd floor of a 1,519 square foot two-story home. In battling the fire, LAFD responders encountered and rescued an (unknown nature) injured adult male (yet to be confirmed age / condition / site affiliation / circumstances), who they are now transporting to an area hospital. Firefighters prevented the vegetation fire from extending to the exposed residences. There is some reported damage (extent unknown at this time) to fencing / patio furniture. Branford St is closed at the 5 Freeway to Laurel Canyon Blvd due to large diameter supply lines on the street and commuters are advised to seek alternate routes (duration unknown at this time). Crews continue to mop up the vegetation fire hot spots. Update Death Investigation Brush Fire; INC#0891; 07:00PM; 11160 N De Soto Av; https://bit.ly/3JXVr4O; #Chatsworth; A more accurate analysis of the burn footprint revealed that held the fire to just under two acres in total (less than initial estimates). While operating in the area during the brush fire incident, crews located some bones that appear to be human remains (unrelated to the fire).
