Just prior, LAFD and LACoFD responded to 2612 Westridge Rd in Brentwood at 12:22 PM for a 65 y/o F hiker with heat exhaustion. LAFD encourages residents to enjoy all LA has to offer, however reminds those hiking to stay hydrated, don't hike during peak heat, stay on designated trails, hike in groups, carry a fully charged cell phone and know you location so firefighters can find you if you are in need of medical assistance; FS 109; Batt 10; Valley Bureau; Council District 11; BC10 BP83 E109 E293 H4 H5 RA93 T93; 8; 18; Erik Scott

Concrete drainage ditches on 3 of the 4 sides of the fire assisted firefighters efforts and reduced the spread of flames. Homes are in the immediate area of the fire, however none damaged. No injury.
