After extinguishing the bulk of the fire on the 1st floor and 2nd floor mezzanine, firefighters chased down a stubborn fire in the walls between the unit of origin and an adjacent business. Salvage operations conducted to protect contents of the businesses to the extent possible. No injuries reported. The cause is under investigation.
