One is deceased and remains trapped in the vehicle. The others were both 30 year-old males, one of whom self-extricated prior to LAFD arrival, the other who was briefly trapped in the vehicle before being freed by firefighters. Both have been taken by LAFD ambulance to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No Caltrans / construction workers were injured. Sadly, one person was found dead inside the apartment along with a dog. There were no other firefighter or civilian injuries reported. No additional displaced residents. Cause is under investigation.
