Update KNOCKDOWN Brush Fire; INC#0938; 02:37PM; Sb 405 Fy; https://bit.ly/3WjkyFW; Bel-Air; KNOCKDOWN: Over 60 firefighters conducted a coordinated ground and aerial attack and extinguished the fire in 42 minutes with no injuries reported. The fire was contained to the side of the freeway with no structures damaged. Crews will continue to mop up any remaining hot spots and the duration of impact on the 405 Freeway are unknown at this time. Drivers are advised to check https://cad.chp.ca.gov/Traffic.aspx Incident # 1361 for updates. Firefighters contained the fire to the garage, preventing extension up into the living spaces. Firefighters faced excessive storage conditions in the garage which provided a high fire load. One person from the fire unit (circumstances unknown) is being evaluated for possible smoke inhalation. The building type is updated to an approximately 75' x 75' commercial building with three store fronts and a common attic.
