The fire was well developed within the attic upon LAFD arrival. Fire attack made an interior approach into the attic while roof division cut a ventilation hole. Additional firefighters conducted salvage operations to protect the belongings inside the home. All occupants were out of the structure and no injuries were reported. Due to the compromised nature of the structure (due to incomplete construction), firefighters took a defensive posture to battle the fire from the exterior. Once the flames were pushed back, firefighters entered the structure with hose lines to eliminate the remaining hot spots. There was one civilian injury. Paramedics are on scene evaluating the patient, who is in fair condition.
