Crews used defensive firefighting tactics (from the exterior only) and set up ladder pipes and other heavy streams to attack the fire. The first 30 firefighters extinguished the flames in just 19 minutes. Crews will remain on scene for an extended period of time to chase down hidden hot spots and overhaul the building. No reported injuries.
