Update Rescue 03/14/2017

Update Rescue; 08:31PM; 2331 E Chavez Av; internal:/; Boyle Heights; Two vacant bungalows with one unit fully involved and the fire extended into the second building with one additional exposure to the west. Firefighters knocked down bulk of the fire and conducting searches of all buildings due to reports of homeless typically staying in the structures. No injuries reported. Many resources being released while those remaining on scene continue to address hot spots. Due to safety concerns, hand lines are not being taken inside the structure. Crews will be rotated throughout the evening to continue operations. Smoke will likely be seen from the structure for several more hours. No injuries reported.
