Update Knockdown Structure Fire; INC#1433; 10:03PM; 2994 W Pico Bl; https://bit.ly/30RSCMG; Harvard Heights; LAFD crews arrived quickly to find flames in one or more units on the 2nd floor of a 5,184 square-foot 2-story residential over commercial building. Those firefighters immediately utilized three separate ground ladders to affect the rescue of three persons stranded in peril at windows and balconies of the 107 year-old structure, filled with smoke, as their colleagues mounted a swift offensive interior attack on the flames with handlines. The first 30 arriving LAFD personnel extinguished the flames in just 22 minutes.
