KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0579; 11:28AM; 5911 E Meridian St; https://bit.ly/3vz21a2; Highland Park; Firefighters confined the flames to one unit of a 2,646 sq-ft triplex built in 1955, protecting the adjacent units and keeping fire out of the attic. It took 20 LAFD firefighters just 13 minutes to eliminate the fire hazard inside the residence. Two patients (53-year-old female and 95-year-old male) had evacuated the burning structure prior to fire department arrival. Both had medical complaints, were evaluated by firefighter-paramedics on scene and transported to an area hospital in fair condition.
