Update Fire; INC#1579; 10:54PM; 899 W 7th St; https://bit.ly/2UzBdZG; Downtown; On further evaluation as smoke within the elevator shaft cleared, the fire was determined to have instead *involved* electrical systems and machinery including hydraulic oil, instead of rubbish. No injuries. Now Out Structure Fire; INC#0853; 01:35PM; 5916 N Monterey Rd; https://bit.ly/3xCdztO; Montecito Heights; The first twenty-six LAFD firefighters arrived to find fire showing from the rear of a one-story L-shaped commercial structure (strip mall). Firefighters isolated the flames to the unit of origin, and extinguished the burning contents in 14 minutes (1:49pm). No reported injuries. Update Traffic Collision with Entrapment; INC#1162; 05:35PM; WB 10 Fwy x Soto Street; https://bit.ly/3gPXpGy; Boyle Heights; The well-coordinated effort of LAFD and LACoFD responders took less than 15 minutes to access, stabilize, treat, extricate and prepare for ambulance transport 2 persons who were trapped in a multi-vehicle collision.
