KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1146; 05:55PM; 3517 E 16th St; https://bit.ly/3DRcLEE; Boyle Heights; KNOCKDOWN: 89 firefighters extinguished the fire in 39 minutes with no injuries reported. The fire was centered in an auto repair shop and extended into an adjacent commercial building as well as outside into the alley, damaging at least two vehicles. A reduced number of resources will remain on scene conducting overhaul operations. There are live, energized down in multiple spots around the structures, please avoid the area. DWP is responding. There is also an outside fire in the alley to the rear of the buildings. Crews are making good progress on both structures (bulk of the fire extinguished in the secondary building). No injuries reported. The incident is at the Greater Alarm status with 89 firefighters assigned.
