KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0186; 04:57AM; 1310 S Wall St; https://bit.ly/3HoYNeZ; Downtown; KNOCKDOWN Firefighters made entry into the commercial building, reaching the seat of the fire and extinguished it in one hour and two minutes with no injuries reported. The commercial building is a strip mall and firefighters contained the fire to the corner unit (DBA a uniform supply store). They attacked the bulk of the fire on the ground floor and then transitioned to the remaining fire in the mezzanine and deep into the corner of the business. Traffic will be impacted through the morning as crews will remain on scene conducting overhaul operations. The also fire extended to two exposed structures (one vacant home sustained only minor exterior damage and one occupied home sustained greater damage) prior to extinguishment.
