It is uncertain as to the nature of the business housed in the structure but appears to be only ordinary combustibles (no chemicals, etc). LAFD PIOs are on scene for media availability. LAFD Arson is responding for the cause investigation per protocol for a Greater Alarm. All firefighters are exiting the structure and coming down off the roof. LAFD Hazardous Materials Squad is evaluating a possible oxygen tank exposed to the fire. The type of business is still unknown. Interior fire attack is facing heavy smoke and is working to locate the seat of the fire. The truck company conducted vertical ventilation and are getting heavy smoke from the holes. It took 48 firefighters 16 minutes to extinguish the flames.
