They initiated an investigation and located heavy smoke on the 2nd floor. Fire attack made entry and extinguished the fire in one unit, preventing it from extending and damaging the adjacent units. One adult female from the adjoining unit was evaluated for possible smoke inhalation but has not been transported to the hospital. Cause and $ loss TBD. The 9-1-1 call was received at 6:07AM.
