Displaced by the blaze and now being assisted by the American Red Cross are five members of one family (4 adults and 1 child). KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#0967; 02:30PM; 3217 W Adams Bl; https://bit.ly/3kst8CW; Jefferson Park; KNOCKDOWN: 32 firefighters extinguished the fire in 24 minutes. Fire was located in a wall on the 1st floor and the smoke traveled up the wall to the attic vents. Crews isolated and were able to prevent the fire from extending up into the 2nd floor/attic of the unit. There were no injuries reported. Cause and $ loss TBD.
