An adult female was located on the ground, next to the RV (outside) with no apparent burn or respiratory injuries. The patient in being transported in fair condition. KNOCKDOWN Structure Fire; INC#1290; 06:08PM; 2800 W 7th St; https://bit.ly/3XYdDRG; Westlake; KNOCKDOWN: Over 100 firefighters extinguished the blaze in 53 minutes. There are still small pockets of fire they are working to access and extinguish. There are approximately 8 residential units on the 2nd floor. One LAFD fire engine was on scene (prior to the fire) in support of a LAPD operation at this building. When smoke became visible from a window, the fire officer upgraded it to a structure fire response. LAPD evacuated the building for their operation (prior to the fire) and firefighters are conducting a thorough search to ensure no occupants remained. A 45yo M was transported with non-life threatening injuries and is in LAPD custody. The possible involvement of this patient with the fire is under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
