Vehicle Fire; INC#0216; 05:13AM; 960 S Grande Vista Av; https://bit.ly/3KGT8Vq; #BoyleHeights; First arriving LAFD Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire involving a 'box truck' that included an explosion in that vehicle's cargo area prior to their arrival. Though there were no injuries, some nearby vehicles sustained damage, and there are few broken windows in nearby homes. The fire extended into an exposed wall of the attached one exposed building but was prevented from extending to the 2nd. Firefighters continue to dig out any remaining hot spots in the wall and clear the attic while additional crews clean up some small spots of fire in the adjacent vegetation. There is a rubbish fire down in an access hole alongside railroad track which has not be extinguished with the water already applied. Making entry to investigate and extinguish requires the confined space protocol for safety reasons.
