While firefighters were enroute, the person jumped. Sadly, the 35yo male was beyond medical help and determined dead on scene. The LA County Coroner office will handle cause and identification. LAFD firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools (holmatro) to free the trapped patient. Firefighter-paramedics assessed all patients on scene. One will be transported in serious condition. The cause of the fire is under active investigation.
